A: RaceClock supports major racing series including Formula 1, NASCAR Cup Series, IndyCar, Formula E, MotoGP, World Rally Championship (WRC), and many others. We regularly add new series based on user demand.

Q: Is RaceClock free to use?
A: RaceClock offers both free and premium features. Basic countdown functionality is free, while premium features like advanced notifications, multiple series tracking, and widget customization are available through our subscription plans.

Technical Questions

Q: What devices are compatible with RaceClock?
A: RaceClock is currently available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 14.0 or later. We're working on Android and web versions for future releases.

Q: Why isn't my countdown updating in real-time?
A: Make sure you have a stable internet connection and that background app refresh is enabled for RaceClock in your device settings. The app needs to connect to our servers to get the latest race schedule updates.

Q: How do I add widgets to my home screen?
A: Long press on your home screen, tap the "+" button in the top-left corner, search for "RaceClock," select your preferred widget size, and tap "Add Widget." You can then customize which race series appears in the widget.

Account and Subscription

Q: How do I upgrade to premium?
A: Open the RaceClock app, go to Settings, tap "Upgrade to Premium," and choose your preferred subscription plan (monthly, quarterly, or annual). Payment is processed securely through your Apple ID.

Q: Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
A: Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Q: Can I use RaceClock on multiple devices?
A: Yes, your RaceClock account syncs across all your iOS devices logged into the same Apple ID. Your favorite races and settings will be available on all your devices.

Features and Usage

Q: How accurate are the countdown timers?
A: Our countdown timers are synchronized with official race schedules and updated in real-time. However, race times can occasionally change due to weather or other circumstances - we update these as quickly as possible when official changes are announced.

Q: Can I get notifications for race starts?
A: Yes! Premium users can set custom notifications from 1 minute to 24 hours before race start. You can also enable notifications for practice sessions, qualifying, and other race weekend events.

Q: What happens if a race is postponed or cancelled?
A: RaceClock automatically updates when official schedule changes are announced. You'll receive a notification about the change, and the countdown will adjust to the new race time or display a "postponed" status.

Troubleshooting

Q: The app isn't showing the latest race schedules. What should I do?
A: Try refreshing the app by pulling down on the main screen. If that doesn't work, check your internet connection and restart the app. For persistent issues, try logging out and back in to your account.

Q: I'm not receiving notifications. How can I fix this?
A: Go to your device Settings > Notifications > RaceClock and ensure notifications are enabled. Also check that you have notification permissions set up within the RaceClock app settings.

Q: The countdown shows the wrong time zone. How do I change it?
A: RaceClock automatically detects your device's time zone. If it's incorrect, check your device's date and time settings. You can also manually select your preferred time zone in the RaceClock app settings.

Getting Started Guide

Downloading and Installing RaceClock

  1. Open the App Store - Locate and tap the App Store icon on your iPhone or iPad home screen
  2. Search for RaceClock - Tap the Search tab (bottom right) and type "RaceClock" in the search bar
  3. Download the App - Locate RaceClock in the search results and tap the "GET" button (or the price if it's a paid app)
  4. Authenticate - Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password to confirm the download
  5. Wait for Installation - The app will download and install automatically on your device
  6. Open RaceClock - Once installed, tap the RaceClock icon to launch the app
  7. Allow Notifications - For the best experience, allow notifications when prompted to receive race start alerts and updates

Once installed, you can select your favorite racing series and start tracking upcoming races right away!
